RE: Fort Lupton Sand and Gravel, M- 1999 -120, Corrective Action Completion 02/12/2013
Southern Boundary
The southern boundary generally follows the north side of Weld County Road 14.5. The southwestern corner is at
WCR 14.5 and the Lupton Bottoms Ditch West Lateral. The southeastern corner is at WCR 14.5 and the Lupton
Bottoms Ditch East Lateral. There is fencing along the entire southern boundary.
Western Boundary
The western boundary generally follows the Lupton Bottoms Ditch West Lateral, the ditch access roads and
property access roads for the distance from the northern boundary to the southern boundary. There are fences
along some properties lines and the operator has placed boundary markers in areas without fences.
Eastern Boundary
The eastern boundary generally follows the South Platte River for the southern two- thirds of the site, then follows
the western edge of "Golden Phase" (now reclaimed and released) and the Hill's private property. The operator
has placed boundary markers along the eastern borders as shown on the Permit Boundary Map, wherever there
is not fencing and where our property is on the west side of the South Platte River. Some property and permit
boundaries extend on to the east side of the River in a few spots, but the mining operations will stay on the west
side of the river. There is one parcel of non - operator owned private property (Rankin property) located in the
southeastern section of the site which is surrounded by mine property and completely fenced.
If you need additional information to complete this corrective action, please let me know. We can also arrange for
a site visit if you would like to see the markers in person. I can be reached via email (Imshults @Igeverist.com),
telephone (303- 286- 2247), or by mail.
Sincerely,
Lynn lyfayer Shults
Regu {story Manager
cc: Dennis Fields, L.G Everist, Inc.
Steve O'Brian, Environment, Inc.
Attachments
- Property Boundary Map (aerial photo map)
- List of Photographs of Permit Markers
- Photographs of Permit Markers
FL- DRMS- PermitMarkersCompleted- toES- 02 doc
