6 (FORM 2 - Public filing)
8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re- establishment of
vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth:
There is minimal topsoil on the deposit at the mine site location. However the top 12
inches of material will be stripped and stockpiled to save what little topsoil is present as an
attempt to successtuily recialm the area to De excavates. Aner exploration activities nave
9. Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures):
10. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for
specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications.
After the vegetation layer has been removed and stockpiled, a pit will be excavated and
approximately 10 cubic yards of deposit material will be stockpiled. The processing equipment
- -- - -- - - -- - - -- - -- - -- - -- -
into the vibratory screen and reduced to 1/2 inch minus. The 1/2 minus material will the feed into
the sluice. The sluice will eject the waste material directly into the excavated pit to avoid silting of
any surface or drainages In the area. The waste material ejected from the vibratory screen will be
processing, the vegetation layer will be spread to match the contour of the area as it was found
pre - exploration. A pretty simple process that could be accomplished in a 14 day period.
11. Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre- prospecting (or better) condition:
entrance to the mine site could easily be reclaimed by back dragging the bucket on the
skid steer or by using a hand operated garden rake.
