SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02:
Mine ID signs were updated by the end of the inspection to show the current telephone number and address of
NECC.
A thorough inspection of disturbed area boundary markers was difficult given the weather conditions,but NECC
should check those at the far western end of the site (particularly around the old SAES) and replace if necessary.
TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06
Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; Redistribution 4.06.4:
The topsoil storage pile south of DWDA1 was clearly identified,and distinct from the subsoil stored in the same
area. Topsoil stockpile 42,between the river and the highway, can be restored now that the temporary conveyor
has been removed.
