McNulty Gulch, and direct snowfall and rainfall . The
west decant line will be plugged and water handling
facilities will be constructed around the east side
of Robinson Tailing Pond and end of No. 2 Dam. These
facilities will accept all of the above drainage , and
will eliminate the water pool between No. 1 and No. 2
Dams. The facilities will carry all floods to the
Tenmile Tailing Pond area.
(3 ) Tenmile Tailing Pond. Tenmile Tailing Pond will
receive water via the Robinson Tailing Pond water
handling facilities and from direct snowfall and
rainfall . Near the end of operations, Tenmile Tunnel
will be sealed and tailing will be deposited, prior
to covering with rock, such that the surface of
Tenmile Tailing Pond will drain from the west to the
east, thereby eliminating the water pool . Water
handling facilities will then be constructed around
the east side of Tenmile Tailing Pond and end of No.
3 Dam. These facilities will carry all floods to the
Mayflower Tailing Pond area.
(4 ) Clinton Dam. Clinton Dam will receive water
from the Clinton Creek drainage area. The outlet of
Clinton Dam is sized to handle "probable maximum
floods . " It may be necessary to operate and maintain
the Clinton Canal to assure that Clinton Creek flood
water does not enter the Mayflower. Tailing Pond.
(5 ) Mayflower. Tailing Pond. Mayflower Tailing Pond
will receive drainage from the Tenmile Pond . Kokomo
Creek, Searle Creek , and direct snowfall and
rainfall . Near the end of operations , tailing will
be deposited on the pond , prior to covering with
rock, so that the water pool will be eliminated and
the surface area will be divided into two separate
drainages, easterly and westerly. The easterly
drainage will be removed from the pond surface by new
water handling facilities constructed around the east
