and Pleistocene Glaciation then removed large amounts of <br /> material from the top of the east block. <br /> At least two stages of Pleistocene Glaciation ad- <br /> vanced from the Climax area and moved down the Tenmile, Arkan- <br /> sas and Eagle Valleys. Figure 4 . 1 shows that all but the root <br /> zones of the Ceresco Ore Body and the top of the Upper Ore Body <br /> were eroded away. It is estimated that approximately one bill- <br /> ion tons of plus 0.2% MoS2 mineralization was removed. This <br /> material was deposited over a large area in the till , moraines <br /> and outwash plains of the glaciers. Climax rocks and minerals <br /> have been found in the glacial tills as far south as Leadville; <br /> west to the Camp Hale area and to the North in the Dillon area. <br /> 4-3 <br />
