Pineda 12250 Highway 12 Director Weston, CO 81091 Re:Lorencito Canyon Mine, Permit C-1996-084 2011 Annual Reclamation Report Review Dear Mr.Thompson The Division has completed its review of the 2011 Annual Reclamation Report(ARR)for Lorencito Canyon Mine, received on February 6, 2012.The Division finds the report in compliance with the following rules: Rule 2.04.13(1)(b)No additional acres were disturbed during 2011 Rule 2.04.13(1)(c)No additional acres were backfilled and graded during 2011 Rule 2.04.13(1)(d)No additional acres were topsoiled during 2011 Rule 2.04.13(1)(e)The cover letter describes 3.5 acres of augmented seeding; a photograph of one of the areas re-seeded and a copy of a seed tag are also included with the ARR. (It would be helpful if this were also described on a map.) The Division finds that the report is not in compliance with the following rules: Rule 2.04.13(1)By February 15, or other such date as agreed on, each permitteeshall file an annual reclamation report covering the previous calendar year for all areas under bond. The report shall include, but not be limited to, text, discussion and maps… No maps are included with the ARR. Rule 2.04.13(1)(f)[The report shall include…] Location, number of acres and dateof planting for all previously revegetated areas The ARR does not break down the cumulative number of seeded acres by date or location.
