preparing for berm raise construction and berm raise geomembrane tie -in. An AMEC field
representative observed geomembrane exposure.

CQA ACTIVITIES:
SUMMARY:
The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction
activities of the contractor.
AMEC observed subgrade preparation for the Phase 5 Berm Raise project prior to select structural fill
placement.
AMEC observed excavation and placement of select structural fill for the Phase 5 Berm Raise project.
AMEC observed slope contouring for the Phase 5 Berm Raise project.
AMEC observed site grading for the Phase 5 Berm Raise project.
AMEC observed exposure of existing geomembrane for the Phase 5 Berm Raise project.
Testing Summary
Laboratory testing continued (Particle Size Distribution, Atterberg Limits, Moisture - Density Relations,
Specific Gravity, Permeability, and Point Load testing) for sampled materials.
