A CAT D -6 dozer was used <br />to rip the existing surface to a depth of at least 6- inches. Moisture conditioning of the subgrade <br />was performed (when necessary) using a tandem axle water truck. Compaction was performed <br />using a 10 -ton vibratory smooth drum compactor passing over the entire subgrade surface at <br />least four times. The subgrade was inspected and approved by an AMEC field representative, <br />prior to fill placement. <br />B) Select Structural Fill Placement <br />Select Structural fill was placed in 12" to 15" loose lifts using a CAT D -6 dozer and a CAT 375 <br />excavator. Each lift was moisture conditioned using a tandem axle water truck (when necessary) <br />and compacted using a 10 -ton vibratory smooth drum compactor, passing over the entire fill <br />surface at least 4 times (method compaction technique was applicable). <br />C) Slope Contouring <br />Slope contouring was performed CAT 330 excavator. Material generated during slope contouring <br />was stockpile at the top of the slope. <br />D) Site Grading <br />A CAT D -6 LGP dozer and a John Deere 35D excavator were used to perform site grading level <br />the ore surface in the area. <br />E) Soil Liner Fill (SLF) <br />No work performed during the week. <br />P513R.Weekly Report WE 06.16.2012 <br />
