6 (FORM 2 - Public filing) <br />8. Describe the estimated topsoil depth and how topsoil will be salvaged, stockpiled and redistributed for the re- establishment of <br />vegetation. Specify approximate topsoil redistribution depth: <br />Topsoil, if present, is estimated to be a foot or less. Any topsoil disturbed will be saved, <br />stockpiled and redistributed over the disturbed area during reclamation. See Appendix A <br />for more detailed information. <br />9 Describe how drill holes will be plugged (refer to Rule 5.4 of the Rules for required abandonment procedures): <br />Any cuttings (mineralized first) are to be returned into the hole to the extent possible when <br />drilling is complete. Remaining cuttings will be buried in the containment pits. The holes <br />will be plugged with spray Loam or concrete from five feet to within two fee of the surface <br />and t hen filled with native t opsoil. Any surface cut remnants on 1. le surface surrounding <br />the hole will be moved into the containment pit for burial, unless under 2" thick, where they <br />will he raked and mixed with the surface topsoil and seeded. A hand scintillometer survey <br />will be conducted, comparing to a baseline to ensure no mineralized material is on or near <br />the surface. See Appendix A for more information. <br />10. Describe how portals, adits, shafts, ponds, excavations, or other disturbances will be reclaimed (refer to Rule 3 and Rule 5 for <br />specific reclamation performance standards). You may wish to contact the Division for closure specifications. <br />The topsoil from the containment pits will be bermed on the lowest side. When reclaiming <br />the site, the bermed soil will be pushed back across the pits, dragged or raked and seeded <br />with the approved seed mixture (Appendix B). <br />11. Describe how roads will be reclaimed or returned to their pre - prospecting (or better) condition: <br />No road disturbance is expected. <br />
