December 18,2012 C-1981-010/Trapper Mine JLE <br /> Impoundment H was covered in snow but the pond embankments appeared stable. <br /> No Name 5R pond was holding water and discharging. The Operator had cleaned a portion of the east end of the <br /> pond to increase the holding capacity. The embankment was snow covered and stable. <br /> No Name 4 pond was holding water and the embankment was snow covered and stable. <br /> There did not appear to be discharge from the flume ponds. <br /> Oak drainage was snowed in and inaccessible. <br /> East Pyeatt 1 and 2 Ponds were holding water and the embankments appeared stable. Pond 3 was not discharging <br /> but was holding water. All of the ponds were snow and ice covered. <br /> Johnson 1 OR was holding water and was discharging. The embankment was snow covered by appeared stable. <br /> GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE: <br /> The Molly Brown dragline was working in the K-Dip pit. The Baby Doe was working in the K-Stirke Pit. The <br /> blasting crew was preparing a blast in the K-Strike Pit area. The Queen Anne dragline was idle at the time of the <br /> inspection <br /> REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15;Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> According to Mr. Roberts the topsoil laydown area in the F-Pit was drill seeded this year. <br /> SUPPORT FACILITIES - Rule 4.04: <br /> The east panel ready line was observed and no problems were noted. <br /> A drill rig was working on a graded bench area above the K-Dip pit. The drill rig was placing ground rods for an <br /> electrical substation. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS—Rule 4.02: <br /> The entrance sign and blasting warning sign was in place at the main entrance to the site and contained the correct <br /> information. <br /> TOPSOIL—Rule 4.06; Removal 4.06.2; Substitute Materials 4.06.4(4); Storage and Protection 4.06.3; <br /> Redistribution 4.06.4: <br /> According to Mr. Roberts,topsoil has been placed over the majority of the backfilled F-Pit area. <br /> Number of Partial Inspection this Fiscal Year: 5 <br /> Number of Complete Inspections this Fiscal Year: 2 <br /> Page 3 of 5 <br />
