Compliance With Mine Plan N - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> N - Other N - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> N -Processing Waste R -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a partial inspection of the Trapper Mine; DRMS File No. C-1981-010,operated by Trapper Mining,Inc. <br /> This site is located south of the town of Craig,Colorado in Moffat County. I,Jared Ebert of the Colorado Division <br /> of Reclamation,Mining and Safety(Division)conducted the inspection. Mr. Graham Roberts with Trapper <br /> Mining,Inc. accompanied me during the inspection. It was snowing heavily prior to and during the inspection. <br /> Due to the snowy conditions visibility was low and portions of the site was inaccessible. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—Rule 4.14;Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1;Approximate Original Contour <br /> 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); Steep Slopes 4.14.2,4.27; Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials <br /> 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br /> The Ash Pit was observed during the inspection. Motor graders were clearing the haul road to allow access to the <br /> backfill area. Piles of ash we in place and snow covered. <br /> According to Mr. Roberts the F-Pit has been completely backfilled and graded. He also indicated contour ditches <br /> are in place and rocks have been stationed in various locations along the proposed drainage channel to be used as <br /> check dams. An access road was cut across the F-Pit reclaimed area to haul topsoil from stockpiles F95-1,F95-2 <br /> and A93-1 to the recently backfilled F-Pit area. This road has been graded out and topsoiled according to Mr. <br /> Roberts. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05; Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br /> 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br /> Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> The industrial waste pond was observed. The pond was holding water but was iced over.
