will be used to reclaim the final phase of the site. In general, this will minimize overall
earthmoving efforts required for an operation of this magnitude.
The maximum total tonnage sold from the site in any one calendar year is approximately 425,000
tons, though the expected annual average is initially expected to be 100,000 tons due to the weak
economy. The raw material will be sold as the following products: sand, crushed rock, pit run,
road base, washed gravel and asphalt. A breakdown of the product tonnages and mined tonnages
can be seen in Table D -1. The total disturbed area is approximately 90 acres. A breakdown of the
estimated areas is included in Table D -2.
Table D -1
Average Annual Product Distribution (Approx.)
Product Tons Sold % Reject Rate Tons Mined
(Naturals)
Sand and Gravel 265,000 0% 265,000
Asphalt 160,000 22.5% 196,000
Total 425,000 8.5% 461,000
Table D -2
Permit Area Description
1.
