December 5, 2012 C-1981-016/Hawk Nest E&W JRS <br /> OTHER: <br /> -There has been no change at the East Mine site as a result of the Ragged Mountain Fire Protection District <br /> purchase and planned fire station. As noted in previous inspection reports,the project has been postponed due to a <br /> lack of funding. The holes that were dug for septic system/leach field infiltration tests have been filled. The <br /> Division will plan on doing vegetation sampling on this portion of the site next summer as well. This will be the <br /> second year of sampling. <br /> RECLAMATION SUCCESS -Rule 4.15, Rule 3: <br /> -The East Mine,West Mine and Bleeder Entry areas were all well vegetated and stable at the time of the <br /> inspection. There were no erosional problems noted on any of these sites. There were no off-site impacts noted at <br /> any of the interfaces with the undisturbed areas. <br /> -In June 2012 the Division performed vegetation monitoring on the site. This was the first of two years of <br /> vegetation monitoring (the year"nine"monitoring). The Division is planning on performing the second year of <br /> vegetation monitoring in June 2013.
