SCF-1 Located in Santistevan Canyon on the north side of State <br /> Highway 12 . Established a stream flume to assess poten- <br /> tial effects of secondary or retreat mining on stream <br /> quality and flow. This station is currently inactive as <br /> per CMLRD approval. Station activation will be triggered <br /> when longwall mining commences under Santsitevan Canyon. <br /> ACF-1 Located in Apache Canyon approximately one-half mile from <br /> the confluence with the Purgatoire river. Established a <br /> stream flume to assess potential effects of secondary or <br /> retreat mining on stream quality and flow. This station <br /> is currently inactive as per CMLRD approval. Station <br /> activation will be triggered when longwall mining com- <br /> mences under Apache Canyon. <br /> CHC-1 Located at the mouth of Cherry Canyon near the confluence <br /> with the south fork of the Purgatoire River. Established <br /> a staff and crest gauge to gather baseline conditions and <br /> assess potential effects of longwall mining under the <br /> canyon. <br /> LCS-1 Located at the mouth of Lopez Canyon near the confluence <br /> with the Middle Fork of the Purgatoire River. Estab- <br /> lished a staff and crest gauge to gather baseline condi- <br /> tions and assess potential effects of longwall mining <br /> under the canyon. <br /> WCS-1 Located in Wet Canyon at the permit boundary approxi- <br /> mately two miles northwest of Weston. Established a <br /> staff and crest gauge to gather baseline conditions and <br /> assess potential effects of longwall mining under the <br /> canyon. <br /> -4- <br />
