do have a copy of the Southfield Mine Map 12, dated 11/10/89, and the two wells shown as the Corley
Mine Well and the Corley Co. Well are definitely not our well #119459. The solid line shown as Corley
Line is supposed to delineate the location of the water line from the Corley Mine Well to the Southfield
pond, but this water line location is not correct either on Map 12. It is the same water line as my map
just sent you that is annotated as the Energy Waterline - and it is the water line that has the long
stretches of bare ground that I reported earlier.
Doug Corley
- -- On Tue, 12/4/12, Binns - DNR, Janet <janeLbinns@state.co.us> wrote:
From: Binns - DNR, Janet <janet.binns cxstate. co. us>
Subject: Re: Water well #119459
To: "W D Corley, Jr." <ajjc att.net>
Date: Tuesday, December 4, 2012, 1:08 PM
Thank You Dr. Corley.
Based on your coordinates and the DWR permit, I am beginning to wonder if map 12 has not
incorrectly located the Corley Co. The
119459 permit states that the location was spotted from section lines. A correct
survey places the well at Energy map coordinates of 12727.254 N and 9555.453
E, or 38d17'39.673" N and 105409'49.291" W (NAD83). There is no annotation to identify the panel but both locations are
