<br /> are applicable to reclamation following surface coal,hard rock,and sand and Colorado Mined Land Reclamation Board Awards
<br /> gravel mining. The Handbook was the culmination of a cooperative effort
<br /> between the mining industry,industry professionals, the academic commu-
<br /> nity and regulatory agencies. The field techniques described in the
<br /> Handbook document field proven reclamation methods. The authors have
<br /> issued a call for "revisiting" the handbook, and adding new information
<br /> unavailable in the late 1995,when the first edition was written.
