than the total of all the equipment in the mill. There is no discharge from these sumps. This is
shown on Maps C -2 and C -3.
The chemical list for the mill operation is enclosed below. All chemicals are listed in the estimated
amount used per ton of ore processed.
1. Zinc Sulfate (ZnSO4) -1 lb/ton 100% crystalline
2. Sodium Carbonate (Na2CO3) -1 lb/ton 100% granular
3. Calcium Oxide (CaO) -.01 lb/ton 100% powder
4. Sodium Ethyl Xanthate (NaEX) -.05 lb/ton
5. Pottasium Amyl Xanthate (PAX) -.05 lb/ton 100% powder
6. Promotor A- 3477 -.03 lb/ton 100% liquid
7. Promotor A- 242 -.01 lb/ton 100% liquid
8. Corn Starch -.07 lb/ton 100% powder
9. Sodium Hydroxide (NaOH) -very limited and near 0 use 50% solution
10. Sodium Hydrogen Sulfide (NaSH) -1 lb/ton 100% granular
11. Anionic Emulsion Flocculent AE 852 [all thickeners] -.1 lb/ton 100% fine powder
12. Frother [MIBC] -.01 lb/ton 100% liquid
13. Sodium MetaBisulfate (NaHSO 100% granular
14. Copper Sulfate (CuSO .01 lb/ton 100% granular
15. Dowfroth 250 Frother 100% Liquid
16. Sodium Amyl Xanthate (NaX) -.05 lb/ton 100% powder
17. Calcium hydroxide - CaOH
18. Di- thiophosphinate & Trithiophosphinate
19. Ethyl isopropyl thiocarbamate flotation reagent
Highway trucks will deliver the chemicals to the site, to a compacted pad of 20 feet width x 20 feet
length. From this pad, they will be taken underground to the mill storage area by small Bobcat or
forklift. Approximately 2000 lbs or less of each chemical will be stored on site in factory containers
inside the mill tunnel, as shown on Map C -2. The mill area has two tunnels, one connecting to the
Revenue tunnel (east -west tunnel) and the other daylighting on the surface as the Mill Portal (north -
south tunnel). The entire north -south Mill Tunnel that runs from the Mill Portal to the sump will be
lined with 4" of concrete floor and the entire sides will be shotcreted. The low point Sump 2 will
have a concrete lining of minimum 4 inch thickness. If any liquid spills occur, they will enter this
sump and will be removed by manual methods or pumps into small portable tanks which will then
be disposed of offsite at an approved waste facility. Liquids cannot enter the groundwater from the
Revenue Mine August 2012 T -19
