November 14, 2012 C-1981-018/Deserado Mine ZTT <br /> Refuse Pile Ponds RP-1, RP-2/3, RP-4 and RP-5 were all dry during the time of inspection accept for the a <br /> minimal amount in the south eastern cell of Rp-2/3.No ponds were discharging and all spillways were stable and <br /> clear of debris. Embankments were well vegetated with no signs of instability and erosion. ` <br /> Ponds SS-I, SS-2, RR-1 and RRS-1 were dry. <br /> The Raw Water Lagoon was inspected.Water was being pumped from the river into the pond as well as from the <br /> pond to the facility area.No issues were with the lagoon were observed. <br /> Explosives, Rock Dust Tanks and Nitrogen Pump SAE areas were inspected. SAES were either bedded with gravel <br /> or surrounded by berms for sediment control.No erosion or instability was observed. <br /> e 41' <br /> Sedimentation Pond DP-1. B-seam dewatering pump. <br /> OTHER(SPECIFY): <br /> Rock dust tanks were observed to be getting refilled during the time of inspection. <br /> PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES —Rule 4.10 and 4.11 <br /> Drainage Control; Surface Stabilization; Placement: <br /> During the time of inspection refuse was being spread and compacted on refuse pile 5A. Refuse appeared to be <br /> spread and compacted in an estimated .5 ft to 1 ft. lifts.
