November 7, 2012 C-1982-057/Seneca II-W Mine BFB <br /> top of ditch PM-2A is lined with black matting. <br /> Culvert J-2A was clean. Pond 016 contained water and was discharging. The culvert northeast of Pond 016 that <br /> drains the hillside to pond 016 was clean. This culvert is not labeled on Exhibit 20-2 and needs to be incorporated <br /> into the permit. Culverts J-4 and J-3 are clean. <br /> Two ditches were installed in the pit ramp slide. The ditches started at the slide scarp and ran perpendicular to the <br /> slope down to the road below. The ditches were lined with black matting which was held in place by soil (photo <br /> 6). <br /> A culvert was installed southeast of Pond 006 under Road A(photo 7). The culvert drains the water from the <br /> south side of road A to Pond 006. Guard rails were also installed at the crossing. This culvert is not labeled on <br /> Exhibit 20-2 and needs to be incorporated into the permit. Some soil from the installation of the culvert crossing <br /> is blocking the inlet side of the culvert and needs to be cleaned. The drainage below the culvert is lined with rock <br /> and appears to be stable (photo 8). <br /> Pond T-5 contained water and was not discharging. Pond 006 contained water and was discharging. The Pond <br /> 006 berm was well vegetated and appeared to be stable. <br /> ROADS —Rule 4.0311 Construction 4.03.1(3)/4.03.2(3)11 Drainage 4.03.1(4)/4.03.2(4)11 Surfacing and <br /> Maintenance4.03.1(5)and(6)/4.03.2(5) and(6)11 Reclamation 4.03.1(7)/4.03.2(7): <br /> The ridgeline access road was well maintained and passable. Road J, north of pond 016, was recently <br /> scraped, well maintained and passable. <br /> REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15❑ Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> The road sides along Road J were reseeded.
