An <br />4� <br />C) Anchor Trench <br />No work performed during the week. <br />D) Geomembrane Exposure <br />No work performed during the week. <br />E) Geomembrane Acceptance <br />No work performed during the week. <br />IV)Storm Water Management <br />A) Best Management Practices (BMP) <br />Best Management Practices are being observed throughout the Mill Site Earthworks project. <br />Straw bales were installed on the slope of the Mill Platform fill to be used as erosion controls. <br />CQA ACTIVITIES: <br />SUMMARY: <br />The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction <br />activities of the contractor. <br />AMEC observed subgrade preparation within the Mill Site Earthworks project prior to overburden fill <br />placement. Subgrade temperatures were monitored prior to fill placement. <br />AMEC observed excavation and placement of overburden fill within the Mill Site Earthworks project. <br />Ambient, existing, and placed fill temperatures were monitored throughout the week. <br />AMEC observed slope contouring of placed overburden fill for the Mill Site Earthworks project. <br />AMEC observed, obtained samples, and assisted in the process of SLF material at the East Cresson <br />Clay Process area. <br />Testing Summary <br />Laboratory testing continued (Particle Size Distribution, Atterberg Limits, Moisture - Density Relations, <br />Specific Gravity, Permeability, and Point Load testing) for sampled materials. <br />MEW Weekly Report WE 09.01.2012 <br />
