topography of the existing stockpiles is consistent with the approved post- mining topography as
shown on Exhibit 20 -2.
Dragline Assembly/Disassembly Pad —This area was to be regraded to approximate original
contour, as shown in Exhibit 20 -2 of the permit application package, and the drainage tributary
to Armand Draw reestablished.
Drainage YPM -20 — YPM -20 is an approved post- mining drainage channel. Design of the
channel, which was to be field fit, called for a trapezoidal channel with either erosion control
matting or rock rip rap lining and 3:1 (if rip rap) or 4:1 (if erosion control matting) side slopes. The
approved overall grade of YPM -20 was 12.3 %.
Drainage YPM -8 - YPM -8 is an approved post- mining drainage channel. Design of the
channel, which was to be field fit, called for a trapezoidal channel with either erosion control
matting or rock rip rap lining and 3:1 (if rip rap) or 4:1 (if erosion control matting) side slopes. The
overall grade of YPM -8 was approved to be 8.9 %.
YPM -8 Watershed — This area was to be graded to approximate original contour, as depicted in
approved Exhibit 20 -2, drainages reestablished, and the area was to be topsoiled and reseeded.
Light Use Road LU -3A — This road was to be narrowed from a haul road (Haul Road B and
Haul Road B Extension) to a permanent light use road averaging 12' wide. Cut and fill areas
were to be blended with the surrounding topography. Topsoil was to be redistributed on the
regraded surfaces outside of the 12' roadway, and the topsoiled areas reseeded.
Light Use Road LU -3B — This road was to be narrowed from a haul road (Haul Road C and D)
to a permanent light use road averaging 12' wide. Cut and fill areas were to be blended with the
surrounding topography, and water bars were to be installed to control drainage across the road.
Topsoil was to be redistributed on the regraded surfaces outside of the 12' roadway, and the
topsoiled areas reseeded.
Stock Tank ST -1— No reclamation was required for this impoundment, as it has been permitted
as a permanent impoundment in its current configuration.
Unnamed Roadway Corridor — This road is not depicted on Exhibit 20 -2, nor is it included in
the permanent structures /features discussion of Attachment 20 -1. According to the currently
approved reclamation plan, this corridor was to be regraded to approximate original contour as
shown in Exhibit 20 -2, topsoil replaced, and the area reseeded. If the operator wishes to retain
this road on a permanent basis, an application for a revision to the permit must be submitted to
and approved by the Division. This area was not considered for bond release because it is within
Page 6 of 27
Yoast Mine SL -4
