Vegetation at the site is <br /> probably adequate to control erosion,but until a demonstration that the bales are no longer necessary has been <br /> approved in the permit application package,the bales should remain in place. <br /> The silt fence along the ROM area small area exemption was in place and in good condition. There was very little <br /> sediment built up behind the fabric. <br /> REVEGETATION—Rule 4.15❑ Vegetative Cover; Timing: <br /> Vegetation at the ROM area and the West Mine is in excellent condition. There is a diverse stand of <br /> perennial vegetation with no evidence of erosion issues. Vegetation at the East Mine is progressing well;there <br /> were no areas of excessive erosion observed. <br /> There is a patch of cheatgrass at the loadout stockpile area that should be treated, and three large tamerisk bushes <br /> at the East Mine in the Ponds 1-4 drainage. The operator indicated that he would consult with Delta County for <br /> the eradication of the tamerisk. <br /> SIGNS AND MARKERS —Rule 4.02: <br /> Disturbance boundary markers and mine identification signs were in place as required.
