Bill Bear of <br /> Bowie Resources, LLC was present during the inspection. Weather conditions were clear and warm; ground <br /> conditions were very dry. The mine was producing coal from the B seam. Refuse was being placed in Gob Pile <br /> 42. <br /> AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION—Rule 4.17: <br /> The main haul road was being watered during the inspection, and material on the conveyor belts and gob <br /> pile areas was wet. No fugitive dust issues were observed. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> Records were inspected in the mine office and found to be in compliance, as documented in the attached <br /> records checklist. <br /> BACKFILL and GRADING—Rule 4.1411 Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1;Approximate Original Contour <br /> 4.14.2; Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27;Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials <br /> 4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6: <br /> Grading and cover operations were underway on the lower two benches of Gob Pile 42.
