About 20,290 acres of the existing <br />permit and proposed permit (Collom. Extension) have been surveyed (10,838 acres previously <br />surveyed and 9,452 acres by recent survey). Colowyo Coal Company, L.P. submitted a request <br />for a Permit Revision (PR03) to Colorado Division of Reclamation Mining and Safety (CDRMS) <br />providing for the mining and reclamation of a portion of the lands newly identified in the permit <br />revision referred to as Collom Permit Expansion and contained adjacent to and south and west of <br />the previously approved permit area. The revised Colowyo permit boundary including the <br />additional area includes all or portions of Township 3 North Range 94 West of the 6" P.M. <br />Sections 12 3 10 11 12 13 14 15 22 and 23 and Township 4 North Range 94 West of the 6th P.M. <br />Sections 12 13 23 24 25 26 27 34 35 and 36 and Township 3 North Range 93 West of the 6th <br />P.M. Sections 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 2122 28 29 and 30 and Township 4 <br />North Range 93 West of the 6th P.M. Sections 7 13 15 16 17 18 19 20 2122 23 24 26 27 28 29 <br />30 31 32 33 and 34. <br />Slopes greater than 30% were not inventoried. In addition, after recent boundary changes, <br />portions of Sections 6 and 7, T3N, R93W, and portion of Sections 28, 29, 32, T4N, R93W were <br />
