bidders responsibility to ensure the receipt of faxed or mailed bids. Bids will be evaluated by <br /> comparing the grand total on the enclosed Bid Schedule. <br /> Bid Award <br /> The apparent low bidder must submit the attached Bid Schedule, signed and a certificate of <br /> insurance with the following limits: <br /> 1. Standard Workers Compensation and Employer Liability , as required by State Statute <br /> including occupational disease, covering all employees at the work site. <br /> 2. General Liability (Public Liability and Property Damage) (Minimum): <br /> a. Combined single limit of $600,000 written on an occurrence basis; <br /> b. Any aggregate will not be less than $1 million; <br /> c. The CONTRACTOR must purchase additional insurance if claims reduce the annual <br /> aggregate below $600,000; <br /> d. The State of Colorado must be named as additional insured on each comprehensive <br /> general liability policy; <br /> e. Certificates of insurance must be provided to the state within ten (10) working days after <br /> receipt of award; and, <br /> f. Insurance shall include provisions providing notification to the State ten (10) days prior <br /> to cancellation of the coverage. <br /> 3. Automobile Liability(Minimum). The CONTRACTOR must carry a minimum of$600,000 <br /> combined single limit. <br /> Project Work Description <br /> The purpose of the project is to construct a four strand barbed wire fence around the recently <br /> reclaimed portions of the Sutey Pile so that cattle are excluded from this area. The fence shall <br /> be constructed to the specifications of Standard Work Specification 18.0, Four-Wire Fence, and <br /> Standard Drawing Number 9, attached. <br /> The attached map shows the location of the fence to be constructed. A single four wire gate will <br /> be constructed at the location shown on the map. A number of water diversions have been <br /> constructed on the Sutey Pile, and will need to be crossed by the fence. The locations of the <br /> water courses are indicated on the map. All of the drainages to be crossed are less than thirty <br /> feet (30') wide. <br /> The anticipated performance period is July 9, 1996, through July 16, 1996. <br /> Fencing, including the wire gate, shall be measured to the nearest linear foot. Measurement and <br /> payment for construction shall be at the unit price establisled on the Bid Schedule. Such <br />
