Reclamation plan for Road F --Number 3 Mine haul road
Stations are on a 200 feet separation. Station 0+000 is located at
the intersection of Roads G, F and E.
0+000 to 6+000 Road segment is generally cut into Mancos Shale
outcrop, with outcrop exposed in road bed. Outslopes and inslopes
are very steep and consist of outcrop or mancos talus slopes.
Flatten road bed by grading material bermed on the outside edge of
the road (1 foot tall by 3 feet wide avg. ) into inside ditch. Rip
road bed as possible. build cutout trenches every 100 feet.
Trenches should be excavated into the road bed perpendicular to the
road to a depth of 4 feet, 20 feet wide at the invert, with side
slopes not exceeding 5H:1V. Excavated material should be placed
and compacted on the down gradient lip of the trench. Outslopes
will be hydroseeded.
6+000 Build cutout as per 0+000 specifications.
6+000 to 9+128 Grade road flat, construct cutouts at 100 feet
intervals. See 0+000 specifications.
9+128 Build cutout as per 0+000 specifications.
9+128 to 10+150 Grade road flat, construct cutouts at 100 feet
intervals. See 0+000 specifications.
10+150 to 11+150 Cut 3 vertical feet from outslope at 3H: 1V
toward middle of road (3' deep by 10' long cut at 3H: 1V slope
toward middle of road) . Place cut material against inslope of the
road at 3 feet depth at 3H: 1V slope. Rip remaining road- bed to 8
inches. Seed entire road width, including cut slope. Construct
cutouts at 100 feet intervals, as per 0+000 specifications.
11+150 to 12+100 Cut 4 vertical feet from outslope at 3H:1V
toward middle of road (4' deep by 12' long cut at 3H:1V slope
toward middle of road) . Place cut material against inslope of the
road at 4 feet depth at 3H: 1V slope. Rip remaining road bed to 8
inches. Seed entire road width, including cut slope. Construct
cutouts at 100 feet intervals, as per 0+000 specifications.
12+100 to 13+150 Grade road flat, construct cutouts at 200 feet
intervals. See 0+000 specifications.
13+150 to 15 +000 Cut 5 vertical feet from outslope at 3H:1V
toward middle of road (5' deep by 15' long cut at 3H:1V slope
toward middle of road) . Place cut material against inslope of the
road at 5 feet depth at 3H: 1V slope. Rip remaining road bed to 8
inches. Seed entire road width, including cut slope. Construct
cutouts at 200 feet intervals, as per 0+000 specifications.
