Please see Article <br /> 4 of the Genera/ Conditions for the applicable insurance requirements. <br /> CONDITIONS AFFECTING THE WORK <br /> In addition to examining the drawings and specifications, completion schedule, and other <br /> instructions, bidders shall visit the site and take such other steps as may be reasonably necessary <br /> to ascertain the nature and location of the work, including average climatic conditions and the <br /> general and local conditions which can affect the work or the cost thereof. The Rock Tunnel entry is located approximately 1 .2 miles <br /> west of the main gate to the mine property. <br /> This project will accomplish reclamation of the Rock Tunnel area through the demolition and <br /> disposal of concrete foundations, placement of pipes and fill into the Rock Tunnel entries, <br /> construction of a stream channel to convey flows from the entries to an adjacent creek,and partial <br /> elimination of adjacent highwalls by excavating material from the bench margins and placing it <br /> against the highwalls. All cut and fill areas, bench remnants and the bench margins (outslopes) will <br /> be revegetated. <br /> 5 <br />
