Task 37 - Replace fill on Sutey conveyor access road
Cross sections provided in a 1988 revision application (II-B-7) show fill to replaced at 54 ft' per
lin. ft. and 70 ft' per lin. ft. Average of the two would be 62 ft3, or 2.3 yds3 per lin. ft. The
length of the road is 1,800', which would require replacement of 4,140 yds3 of material. Since
cut and fill slopes are steep, this would require use of a hydraulic excavator with a long reach
(Caterpillar 245B).
Production capability of excavator downgraded from optimum to reflect degree of difficulty in
digging outslope, and long reach necessary. 8-27-84 revision.
