The creation of lined <br /> n.moff strucA.-.ures on the dow'icast slope reevaluated. The stabilitv <br /> and lor-Igevity of any chamnels constr��ted on this steep slope is in qutcistion. <br /> S]ope in this fashion would undoubtedly create otIxsr unforeseen <br /> impacts (.X-f slope stability. An alternate course has been proposed. <br /> Using a technique whjch has been pr-oven in Europe, the bid doctmoc,_m-t will <br /> incltxde the ccxist�.tction of N-YJge brushlayers consisting of hand du/g cont��r <br /> furrows on 12 foot centers. Each furrow will have shn./b cuttinqs or tublings <br /> buried 2/3's their length on one foot sp-acings. Native shrub tzutblings 11ave <br /> beff-i or'dered from a nursery.
