EXHIBIT E — Reclamation Plan
By this amendment, we seek to change the Reclamation of the mined land of the permit area
from a clay -lined water storage reservoir to a backfilling of the site to two feet above the
historical water table. The site will be backfilled with only clean fill dirt and other inert
materials. Asphalt fragment and uncured concrete will not be placed below the alluvial water
table per Adams County and CDHPE regulations. The site will be capped with clean dirt, seeded
and restored to agricultural use.
Sand and gravel mining has been completed on the site. The open pit of approximately 28 acres
remains and will be backfilled with inert material. Material has been utilized in the pit
previously for repairs to the North wall and the South side of the pit. We estimate approximately
243,000 cubic yards of material to be used to bring the grade to two feet above water table.
A cross - section of the area is being prepared and will be submitted shortly after this Amendment
is submitted.
The operator will work with DRMS to ensure the final grade and state of the property conforms
to all reclamation standards.
