Renner, Coal Program Supervisor <br /> Division of Minerals and Geology <br /> Department of Natural Resources <br /> 215 Centennial Building <br /> 1313 Sherman Street <br /> Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> Re: Review of Response to Ten-Day Notice #93-020-244-003, TV-1; Coal Basin <br /> Mines; Mid-Continent Resources, Inc. <br /> Dear Mr. Renner: <br /> In accordance with 30 CFR 842.11, the following is a written finding regarding the <br /> Division of Minerals and Geology's (DMG) response to the above Ten-Day Notice <br /> (TDN): <br /> Violation 1 of 1 of the TDN was issued in response to a citizen's complaint for the <br /> operator's failure to reclaim the haul roads and access roads on the entire mine in <br /> a contemporaneous manner. <br /> DMG responded to the TDN by indicating that enforcement actions NOV 93-109 <br /> and CO-93-144 have been issued to Mid-Continent Resources to address the <br /> matter. <br /> The AFO finds the DMG response with regard to violation 1 of 1 of the TDN to <br /> constitute appropriate action.
