Box 1298 <br /> Glenwood Springs, Colorado 81601 <br /> RE: Coal Basin Mine (C-81-017) , Notice of Violation C-93-109 <br /> Dear Ms Delaney: <br /> The enclosed Notice of Violation is being issued as a result of the <br /> June 14-18, 1993 inspection of the Coal Basin Mine. As a result of <br /> that inspection the Division received a Ten-Day Notice with four <br /> issues from the Office of Surface Mining. We have already issued <br /> violations on two of the issues as part of our initial response to <br /> OSM. The Division initially appealed the remaining two issues and <br /> after an unfavorable response from OSM decided not to appeal <br /> further. Therefore, we are taking enforcement action NOV C-93-109 <br /> for failure to contemporaneously reclaim the mine site.
