Arndt ,
describing a biodegradable flocculant (Nalco 8103) . He
has told me that this meets all effluent standards and is
not in any way detrimental to aquatic life.
We have calibrated the concrete box by the front gate and
the 12" cmp that goes from the small pond to the large pond
at No. 1 Mine and will maintain the dosage as closely as
possible to 1 or 2 ppm. We will continue to work with Nalco
to properly store, mix and flocculate our ponds .
Please contact me if you have any questions .
Sincerely,
Environmental Coordinator
DWBowman :ms
Copies:
J.
