adjacent the road on the southeast side_
The channel above the culvert will be cleaned of mud and
debris to clear the culvert. Then large rocks will be placed
around and alongside the culvert at the upper side of the
road, replacing the timber and bolts. The guardrail along
the road will be removed to carry out this work.
Mid-Continent wishes to use rock which is readily available
in the area of the work to be done. There is a deposit of
river rock several hundred yards to the west of the road,
which is alongside Coal Creek. That rock will be used for
the work on the outslope. In addition, large boulders are
situated nearby and will be used for the bank on the upper
side of the culvert. A front-end loader will transport the
rock.
Mid-Continent does not intend to increase the width of the
road at this crossing as it is presently wide enough to
allow passage of heavy equipment, and all other vehicles which
travel the road.
Yours truly, 1'
Diane Delaney
Mid-Continent Resources
