Additional sources of rock (indicated on <br /> Map #2) would be an embankment on the northwest side of the low water crossing, <br /> debris flow alongside the road at Culvert G-17, and nearby, alongside the road to the <br /> "picnic area." These source areas are well above and outside of the stream channel. <br /> have written to the Corps of Engineers concerning our proposed action. As you recall, <br /> we discussed this plan with Mike Claffee of the Corps of Engineers during a site visit on <br /> August 11, 1993. He indicated that we would not require an additional permit, and I've <br /> requested written confirmation.
