COMMENTS
This was a complete inspection of the Trapper Mine operated by Trapper Mining, Inc. DRMS Permit No. C-1981-
010. I Jared Ebert of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety conducted the inspection. Mr.
Forrest Luke of Trapper Mining accompanied me during the site inspection on Thursday October 4th. Graham
Roberts of Trapper Mining accompanied me on Friday October 3rd. Both days were clear, cool in the morning
and warm in the afternoon.
The annual Applicant Violator System Review check was conducted during the inspection. See the enclosed sheet
for details.
AIR RESOURCE PROTECTION—Rule 4.17:
Dust control activities were observed during the inspection such as watering of the haul roads. An insignificant
amount of dust was observed.
AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1):
A records check was conducted during the inspection. Please see the end of the report for details.
BACKFILL and GRADING—Rule 4.14, Contemporaneous Reclamation 4.14.1, Approximate Original Contour
4.14.2,Highwall Elimination 4.14.1(2)(f); Steep Slopes 4.14.2, 4.27,Handling of Acid and Toxic Materials
4.14.3; Stabilization of Rills and Gullies 4.14.6:
Trapper is actively backfilling and grading the remaining portion of the F-Pit. Overall,it appears the completed
grading work blends in well with the surrounding topography. Rock has been staged in the projected drainage
channel in the bacicfilled area. It appears these rocks will be used as check dams within this channel.
