Compliance With Mine Plan NA - Support Facilities Not On-site <br /> NA -Other NA - Special Categories Of Mining <br /> NA -Processing Waste Y -Topsoil <br /> COMMENTS <br /> This was a complete inspection of the Seneca II-W site; C-1982-057 operated by Seneca Coal Company, LLC. I, <br /> Jared Ebert along with Susan Burgmaier of the Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety conducted <br /> the inspection. Mr. Roy Karo of Seneca Coal Company was aware of the inspection but did not accompany us <br /> during the site inspection. The weater was clear and sunny at the time of the inspection. <br /> AVAILABILITY OF RECORDS—Rule 5.02.4(1): <br /> A records check was conducted, see the end of the report for details. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05; Drainage Control 4.05.1, 4.05.2, 4.053; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br /> 4.05.6, Discharge Structures 4.05.7, 4.05.10, Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage—Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br /> Impoundments 4.05.6, 4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Pond 015 was holding water. The pond slopes were stable and vegetated. The flume was in place and functional. <br /> The drainage above pond 015 was walked to the boundary of the disturbed area. Overall this drainage appears <br /> stable and well vegetated. At the top of the drainage on the boarder of the disturbed area,the Operator has <br /> stabilized this steep portion of the drainage with erosion control matting. Vegetation has begun to establish in this <br /> portion of the drainage and through the erosion matting. <br /> Pond 009 was holing water but was not discharging. The pond embankment was stable and the spillway was clear <br /> and functional. <br /> Pond 005 was holding water but not discharging. The embankment was stable and the spillway was clear and <br /> functional. <br /> Stock tank T-18 was holding water and stable.
