SUMMARY OF MINUTES <br /> MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD <br /> SEPTEMBER 22-23, 1993 <br /> 1. AUGUST MINUTES APPROVED <br /> 2 . DIRECTOR AND EDO REPORTS. The Board continued this Item to <br /> the October 1993 Board Meeting. <br /> 3 . EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> COLORADO YAMPA COAL COMPANY File No. C-81-071 <br /> Assistant Attorney General, Cheryl Linden, stated that during <br /> Executive Session the litigation pending against the Board was <br /> discussed. She asked the Board to provide a Motion, in order <br /> to provide direction to her as their attorney. <br /> The Board requested that Ms. Linden file a Motion with the <br /> court asking for a limited remand of this matter to allow the <br /> Board to go forward during the October 1993 Board Meeting with <br /> the rehearing, as scheduled, and provided Ms. Linden with the <br /> authority to enter into a stipulation with the opposing party, <br /> if an agreement is reached. <br /> The Board stated that the parties should be prepared for the <br /> matter to be heard during the October 1993 Board Meeting, if <br /> an agreement is not reached. The Board also noted that the <br /> matter could be continued, for good cause. <br /> 4 . FORMAL PUBLIC HEARING <br /> SUMMITVILLE CONSOLIDATED MINING CO. , INC. File No. M-84-157 <br /> GALACTIC RESOURCES, INCORPORATED <br /> GALACTIC RESOURCES, LIMITED. This matter, which involved a <br /> discussion a the draft contract with the EPA. <br /> Staff introduced Barry Levene, with the EPA remedial project <br /> team handling the Summitville site. Staff provided the Board <br /> with a brief summary of activities related to the Summitville <br />
