The Attorney Generals office found
the amendment to be acceptable with the exception that the mortgage
deed amendment should be styled "second amendment."
The Division has also noted two changes which must be made in the
surety. The permit number (77-419) must be changed to the new
permit number (C-017-81) and, since Mid-Continent will be mining
Federal coal_, the bond must be made payable to the Office of
Surface Mining and the Mined Land Reclamation Board.
If you have any questions or comments, please call Brian Munson or
myself at 866-3567.
S' cerely,
Jim erron
Recl oration Specialist
J
JH/pp
:1
