As a point of clarification I thought it would be
well to note that the Haul Road Drainage Control Plan in the
approved permit (Vol. 3 Att. II-B- App. 7-2) says:
Road D. Ditch flows will be reduced by rip-rap ditch checks
on 100 foot centers.
Road E. Rip rap checks placed on 100 foot centers are
required.
Road F. Road F is steep with an average ditch slope of 8.4
percent, flow velocities will be reduced by ditch checks on
100 foot centers.
Road G. Ditch checks are not required.
As I undertstand the plan, ditch check structures are required for
Roads D, E and F, are specifically not required for Road G, and
have not been required, as they are not specified, for any other
roads.
We have completed dragging all ditches on all the roads with a road
grader, and are proceeding with additional steps required by this
NoV.
I am somewhat concerned by Item 2 of Attachment B, which says that:
