With minor
modification, the proposals appear to be acceptable. However, final approval
of the proposal will require submittal of a technical revision application
which includes appropriate design plans and supporting calculations
demonstrating compliance with Rule 4.05.20) .
We have modified NOV C-90-052 to allow for completion of appropriate field
work by the abatement deadline. The technical revision design plans
supporting small area exemption designation for the affected sites will need
to be submitted by July 18, 1991 .
Please note that the NOV as modified requires implementation of the proposed
abatement plan with one modification. Straw bale check dams (bales keyed in
and staked in place) or sediment control fencing should be installed to
provide interim sediment control for those areas where revegetation is
proposed to provide long term sediment control (i .e. the rock tunnel pad
outslope and the berm behind the bathhouse) .
Please contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Dan T.
