•2 <br /> 6. Approved spark arresters will be required on all combustible <br /> engines used on the job. <br /> 7. All reclamation work will be completed 30 days after the holes <br /> are completed unless an extension is given in writing by the <br /> District Ranger. <br /> 8. Mid-Continent's performance bond filed with Mined Land Reclama- <br /> tion Division will apply to this project. Prior to bond release, <br /> Forest Service concurrence that reclamation work is complete is <br /> required. <br /> 9. Violations of these stipulations are grounds for "shutting down" <br /> any or all operations permitted under this agreement. "Shut Down" <br /> notices will be given in writing by the District Ranger or his <br /> representative. <br /> 10. Operations will not be allowed under muddy or wet conditions. <br /> 11. Erosion Control - The permittee shall be responsible for the <br /> prevention and control soil erosion and gullying in the area <br /> covered by this permit and lands adja ent ,thereto w ere : -e <br /> - i 4v� lrr5 uderQ <br /> 12. Water bars will be replaced as they now exist �nd installed where <br /> appropriate to prevent erosion once permitted operations are r,}-t�4 <br /> completed. <br /> 13. The proponents shall notify the Paonia District Ranger or his <br /> representative within one week of when operations are to <br /> commence on National Forest lands. Notification shall also <br /> be given as in the preceding sentence when the project is <br /> complete and before rehabilitation equipment is moved off the <br /> project area. <br /> 14. Work will not be allowed past October 1, due to anticipated <br /> wet weather conditions. An extension of this period may be <br /> authorized in writing by the District Ranger, if weather permits. <br /> 15. Use on the old drill road from the top of Huntsman Ridge is <br /> authorized as part of this permit. The road will be used as it <br /> presently exists, with no surface blading except at the two <br /> Henderson Creek crossings. <br /> The first crossing shall be a ford with maximum of a 2 ft. fill <br /> while minimizing approach disturbance. <br /> The second crossing shall consist of a 48 in. c.m.p. per Douglas <br /> Bowman's letter to Mike Ward of August 2, 1985. Plans and <br /> specifications for culvert placement must be submitted and <br /> approved by the Forest Service prior to installation. <br />
