VI . PETROLEUM AND CHEMICALS
All fuel and oil containers must be stored inside
a designated, enclosed, bermed area.
VII . REVEGETATED AREAS
Revegetated areas are covered with straw and/or
have signs saying "Buffer Zone, " "Permit Boundary" or
"Topsoil. "
Stay away from revegetated areas. Leave them
alone and do not drive on or deposit any material on them.
VIII . WILDLIFE
No hunting is allowed on mine property.
Mine roads cannot be used to reach hunting areas .
If a vehicle hits an animal, report it to the
Environmental Department.
IX. ROADS
Drainage from a road should not be allowed to
flow over the outside of the road.
Summer:
When grading haul roads, clear drainage ditches always
maintain road slope to the inside ditch. Berms must
be maintained on the outside of all roads (in winter,
the berm can be pushed in to the barrow ditch to help
with snow removal, but must be replaced in the spring. )
Beware of permanent berms.
Winter:
Snow must be graded or pushed in designated
areas, as shown in attached maps. Do not push snow
into sediment ponds. Do not run over or push barriers,
fences or store equipment when removing snow.
X. PADS
Never disrupt or change the permanent drainage
pattern (berms, dtiches and slope) .
Don't ever push anything over the side.
See snow maps for correct snow removal.
