Jewel Mine 2 $100 000 <br /> Site contains 1000' of unstable and <br /> hazardous highwalls, 15 '-55' high. <br /> A outslopes of spoil piles are unstable and <br /> creating landslide danger. Site is in an CID <br /> area that may be subject to future housing <br /> development, and is only 3/4 mile from both <br /> a residence and a county road. Also, <br /> Priority 3: site is adversely affecting <br /> surface water quality. Abatement of <br /> Priority 2 hazards would largely abate the o <br /> water quality problems.
