Special Needs/Considerations: Colorado will provide an on-site Project Manger and construction specifications for each task. These tasks are cooperative efforts between the State and the U.S. Forest Service. Road work may best be accomplished using tracked excavators, motor graders, and dozers. Outslope work may be accomplished using large and small dozers, modified rollers, cranes and other equipment suitable for work on long, steep slopes. Demolition may require dozers, pneumatic drills and tracked excavators. Refuse Pile work may require use of a dozer, scrapers, trucks and shovel. Is Funding Available For All Materials: Colorado will provide funding for materials such as fuel and lubricants. Funding for the provision of construction materials, such as rip rap, will be provided. Colorado is willing to negotiate a cost to be paid by the State to the Army for mobilization and demobilization. Time Frame For Completion: The construction season is limited by snowmelt and the first heavy snow fall. Mid-July through early September is the ideal construction time frame.
