Box C <br />Ouray, CO 81427 <br />RE: Notice of Intent to Conduct Prospecting, Camp Bird Tailings Exploration Project <br />Dear Commissioners, <br />On behalf of Caldera Mineral Resources, LLC ( Caldera), Reardon Steel LLC has submitted to the <br />Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS) a Notice of Intent to Conduct <br />Prospecting (NOI) for the Camp Bird Tailings Exploration Project. The activities proposed in the <br />NOI include drilling through historic tailings associated with the Camp Bird Mine. All of the drilling <br />locations proposed under the NOI are located outside the boundary of the Camp Bird Mine 112 <br />permit (M -1982 -090), and are located on private lands owned by Camp Bird Colorado, Inc. (CBCI). <br />The purpose of the drilling proposed in this NOI is to begin to develop environmental and <br />economical parameters that may warrant future excavation, stabilization, processing, or other <br />handling procedures that would improve the current condition of CBCI's lands and the surrounding <br />environment. <br />Certain portions of the NOI that were submitted to DRMS will be made available to the public via <br />the DRMS website (http: / /mining.state.co.us).
