PPSMENT OFyiZ 1
p United States Department of the Interior
BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT TAKE PRIDE'
' Tres Rios Field Office
H S M ERICA
29211 Highway 184 1 ► A
Dolores, Colorado 81323
In Reply Refer To:
3809
(COC Ws 74221, 74239, 74240, 74259, 74543)
August 29, 2012
Robert Oswald
Colorado Division of Mining Reclamation and Safety
691 County Road 233, Ste A -2
Durango, CO 81301
Dear Mr. Oswald, t>L-Wn CoMWc -01D
On August 09, 2012, James Blair, the Geologist for the Dolores Public Lands Office, inspected the following Lynx -
Royal Notice Level uranium drilling projects with Ryan Weidert of Lynx Royal. These drilling projects are all
located on BLM lands in the vicinity of Egnar, Colorado. They are known by the following BLM and DRMS serial
numbers.
Name
BLM Serial Number
DRMS Serial Number
Fire House East
COC -74221
P- 2009 -032
HDI
COC -74239
P- 2009 -037
HD2
COC -74543
P- 2010 -012
Slickrock
COC -74220
P- 2009 -031
EG -PR1
COC -74602
P- 2010 -022
PI
I COC 74259
1 P- 2009 -039
F1
I COC -74240
I P- 2009 -036
Copies of each inspection report are included with this letter as attachments. All of these projects were drilled
during the 2010 or 2011 drilling season. Only those drill sites that were actually disturbed, and identified as
needing additional reclamation or time to re- vegetate, as indicated from 2011 inspection reports were revisited in
2012. Earthwork at all of the sites is complete and all sites are stable. No significant erosion problems were
observed that appeared likely to be connected to these drilling projects. Vegetation was established at all sites. A
few individual drill holes could have had better vegetation growth, however it was clear that they were on the right
path, and returning for additional inspections year after year to monitor a fraction of an acre of vegetation growth
would not be an efficient use of funds. The cost to the government to continue visiting these sites likely exceeds any
remaining reclamation liability. For this reason, I recommend that CDRMS return the bonds for these projects to
Lynx- Royali if CDRMS concurs with this assessment. If you have any additional questions, please contact James
Blair at 970 - 882 -6862.
Sincerely,
o ie Clementson
Field Manager S
Tres Rios Field Office V
Attachments: 7 inspection reports D p Q12
CC: Mike Leidich, Lynx Royal.
7011 akTo Ooo l (lgag Z6 q& FrcO OF P p1A
Vh- c.ekr. 1N4 c ® QF
J QEC SP E
p1V1 G PNO
1 of 1
