• <br />"Facility or solid waste disposal facility" means all contiguous land and <br />structures, other appurtenances, and improvements on the land used for solid <br />waste disposal. <br />"Facility component" for purposes of Section 5.5, means any part of a facility <br />including equipment. For the purpose of this definition, "facility" means (as defined <br />in Air Quality Control Commission Regulation No. 8 (5 CCR 1001 -10, Part B): <br />"any institutional, commercial, public, industrial, or residential structure, <br />installation, or building (including any structure, installation, or building <br />containing condominiums or individual dwelling units operated as a residential <br />cooperative, but excluding: residential buildings having four or fewer dwelling <br />units); any ship; and any active or inactive waste disposal site. For purposes of <br />the definition, any building, structure, or installation that contains a loft used as <br />a dwelling is not considered a residential structure, installation, or building. Any <br />structure, installation or building that was previously subject to this subpart is <br />not excluded, regardless of its current use or function." <br />"Facility structures" means any building, structure, or utility services trenches, <br />temporary or permanent, at a facility for solid wastes disposal. <br />"Fault" means a fracture or a zone of fractures in any material along which strata <br />on one side have been displaced with respect to strata on the other side. <br />"Fault displacement" means the relative movement of any two sides of a fault <br />measured in any direction. <br />"Favorable geologic conditions" means that a site selection shall emphasize <br />tight soils, distance from ground water, deep aquifers and similar natural features. <br />• <br />September 30, 2011 <br />0 <br />M <br />
