0 <br />"Antineoplastic" means acts to prevent, inhibit, or halt the growth of a tumor. <br />"Application for a certificate of designation" means all documents, data and <br />drawings which are submitted, for review, by an applicant to a governing body <br />having jurisdiction. The application shall contain the site location, the type of <br />facility, the engineering design and operations report which includes, but is not <br />limited to, geological, hydrological, engineering and operational data for the design, <br />operation, closure and post - closure of the facility. This information shall be <br />prepared in accordance with these regulations and all local requirements. <br />"Approved site or facility" means a site or facility for which a certificate of <br />designation has been obtained, pursuant to the Act. <br />"Aquifer" means a geologic formation, group of formations, portion of a formation <br />or unit capable of yielding significant quantities of ground water of usable quantity <br />to wells or springs. <br />"Areas susceptible to mass movement" means those areas of influence (i.e., <br />areas characterized as having an active or substantial possibility of mass <br />movement) where the movement of earth material at beneath, or adjacent to the <br />facility because of natural or man - induced events, results in the downslope <br />transport of soil and rock material by means of gravitational influence. Areas of <br />mass movement include, but are not limited to, landslides, avalanches, debris <br />slides and flows, soil flection, block sliding, and rock fall. <br />"Asbestos" means the asbestiform varieties of serpentinite (chrysotile), riebeckite <br />(crocidolite), amosite (cummingtonite - grunerite), anthophyllite, and actinolite- <br />tremolite. <br />"Asbestos- containing material" means any material that contains more than one <br />percent (1 %) asbestos by weight, area or volume. <br />"Asbestos- contaminated soil" means soil containing any amount of asbestos. <br />"Asbestos waste" means any asbestos - containing material whether it contains <br />friable or non - friable asbestos, that is not intended for further use. This term <br />includes but is not limited to asbestos mill tailings, asbestos from pollution control <br />devices, and containers that contain asbestos. <br />"Asbestos waste disposal area" means an area approved for the disposal of <br />asbestos waste at a solid waste facility, including, but not limited to, a trench or <br />monofill. <br />September 30, 2011 <br />L <br />
