Secondary and Primary Geomembrane Liners (HDPE) A 40 -mil high density polyethylene (HDPE) geomembrane will be used as the secondary liner. The secondary liner must be placed over a properly prepared subgrade approved by the CQA Engineer and Liner Installer prior to placement. The primary liner will consist of textured 60 -mil HDPE placed over the leak detection system. The geomembranes to be used for the secondary and primary liners shall meet the properties listed in the following table.
